Planned Upgrades
In order to keep our systems up to date and add improvements we sometimes need to carry out essential maintenance.
So we don't cause you too much disruption, we do this in the early hours of the morning from 01:55 to 02:30.
When we have essential maintenance planned outside of these times, we will provide an update below and give you the specific times and services affected.

We’ll be doing routine maintenance on our systems from 13:00 15th March to 09:00 on 16th March 2025.
This means that your Mobile App/Digital Banking mailbox, statements, and credit card balance transfers may be unavailable during these times.

Service update
We’ll be completing essential maintenance on our systems from 22:00 on the 15th March 2025 to the 08:00 on the 16th March 2025.
During this time, you can continue using your card and making transactions, however you won’t be able to view your credit card information on our Mobile App or Digital Banking until the maintenance is completed at 08:00.

Service update
To ensure that we continue to provide you with a reliable service we will be carrying out essential maintenance to our Cash Machines for approximately 30 minutes between 02:50 - 03:20 on Wednesday 19th March 2025. This means that during this time access to cash and all other services will be unavailable at RBS ATMs.
Additionally RBS Debit card holders will not be able to use cash machines of other financial institutions.
RBS Credit card holders will be able to use cash machines of other financial institutions.
‘Emergency Cash’ and ‘Get Cash’ facilities cannot be used during this time. PINs issued before or during this period may still be used but will only be available for their normal 3 hour lifespan. They cannot be re-issued or extended so you should time your visit to the machine you have chosen to avoid the period of the outage.
