Travel account spending questions

There are two possible reasons for this:

1. You might not have had enough euros or US dollars in your Travel account to pay the full transaction. When this happens, we'll take the entire transaction amount from your current account.
2. You may not have selected to pay in the local currency when prompted by an ATM or card machine. You can only use funds held in a Travel account if you choose to pay in local currency. You may also be asked if you would like to ‘Accept or decline’ a conversion or exchange rate. If you ‘Accept’, the transaction will come through to us in pounds and therefore debit you linked current account in pounds.
