What is a Travel account?
Travel account is our in-app offering allowing customers to open and link the travel account to an eligible Royal Bank of Scotland current account. This in turn allows customers to use the same debit card they'd normally use while abroad in a euro or US dollar zone, without having to pay any transaction fees.
Travel account is available to existing sole account holders of eligible current accounts who are registered for mobile banking and are UK residents over 18. Limited to two Travel accounts per customer (fees may apply in certain situations, such as not holding enough currency in your Travel account to cover a full transaction).
