For trusts, the form must be signed by the Chairperson of the Meeting, who should also be an existing authorised signatory. They must also be at least one of the following:
- An existing director or secretary of the Corporate Trust
- Existing trustee named on the Trust Deed / Deed of Appointment / Amendment to the Trust Deed.
For any other unincorporated club or society, this form must be signed by two people authorised to sign on behalf of your organisation.
Ideally, both people signing would already be authorised signatories on the account.
If there is only one active authorised signatory:
The existing signatory must sign the form in the Signatory section.
The new authorised signatory should sign alongside the existing signatory as well as in the Add Authorised Signatories section.
A signed copy of the minutes of the meeting giving authority to the new authorised signatory must be attached – it can be uploaded when you complete the form.
If you have no existing authorised signatories to sign:
If you aren’t sure who can sign on the account, please call our dedicated support team to confirm the best way to authorise the request.
We may need to request additional identification documents from new signatories to make sure we’re dealing with the right person and to meet our regulatory requirements. This will be done via email by our security partner Mitek. Find out more about Mitek.
