Up until 29th June 2024every eligible transaction you make counts as an entry into the draw to win a trip to the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games. There’s no minimum spend, and most purchases qualify (exclusions apply), so you have the same chance of winning whether you buy a coffee or a couch. There is a no purchase necessary route – please see terms and conditions for full details.

Here’s a reminder of the prizes on offer, courtesy of Visa:

1.     There will be 2 first place winners in total. Each winner will win the following prize package. Each package is for 2 adults (both aged 18 or over), one of whom must be the winner, and includes:  

  • 2 tickets to the Opening Ceremony of the Paralympic Games (Event Reference POC01) on the 28th August 2024 in Paris and, 2 tickets to the Paralympic Swimming Event of the Paralympic Games (Event Reference PSWM01) on the 29th August 2024 in Paris.
  • Return travel for each adult from one UK home address to Paris departing 27th August 2024 and returning 29th August 2024
  • 2 nights at a 4-star hotel in Paris for each adult
  • 1x 24-hour Paris tour bus pass for each adult
  • 1x €200 prepaid Visa card to be used in Paris
  • Visa Everywhere Lounge access at your 4-star hotel for both adults.

 

2.     There will be 5 second place winners. Each winner will win a “Party in a Box Bundle”, which will include:

  • 1 x Panasonic 55-inch Smart TV
  • 1 x Paralympic Games plush mascot soft toy
  • 2x Paralympic Games themed mugs

 

3.     There will also be a further 10 third place winners. Each winner will win a merchandise bundle, which will include:

  • 1 x Paralympic Games  embroidered fleece
  • 1 x Paralympic Games plush mascot soft toy
  • 2x Paralympic Games themed mugs

Terms & Conditions

1. This prize draw is open to National Westminster Bank plc (“NatWest”) and Royal Bank of Scotland plc (“RBS”) Visa debit cardholders (“cardholders”) who are aged 18 or over and are residents of Great Britain. This prize draw is not open to employees of the NatWest Group of companies, their families or anyone associated with this draw. Visa Europe Limited (registered office 1 Sheldon Square, London, W2 6TT) (“Visa”) are the sponsor of this prize draw.

2. We, NatWest (registered office 250 Bishopsgate, Spitalfields, London, EC2M 4AA) and RBS (registered office 36 St. Andrew Square, Edinburgh, Scotland, EH2 2YB) are the Promoter of the prize draw.

3. The Rights Holder is the International Olympic Committee and Paris Organising Committee for the Olympic Games Paris 2024 and Paris 2024 Paralympic Games (“Paris 2024”). Paris 2024 and Visa are not responsible for the administration of the promotion. Paris is not liable for anything arising out of this promotion, including the fulfilment of any Prize(s) as defined in these terms.

4. By entering the prize draw, entrants agree to these terms. These terms apply in the event of any conflict or inconsistency with any other communications, including advertising or promotional materials.

5. To enter, cardholders must either:

1.) Receive an in-app communication which will provide a link to be automatically enrolled into the prize draw, and;

a. Cardholders must then make at least one purchase either in store or online using their registered NatWest or RBS Visa debit card between 00:00 on 3rd June 2024 and 23:59 on 29th June 2024 (“the prize draw period”). The following transactions are excluded from the prize draw:

  • gambling transactions;
  • ATM and other non-ATM cash withdrawals;
  • buying e-money or foreign currency;
  • money transfers and balance transfers; and
  • refunded transactions, where the refund is received before the end of the prize draw period.

2) No purchase necessary:

a. If a cardholder would like to participate without making a purchase during the prize draw period, the cardholder must mail their full name, date of birth, telephone number, email address, first line of address and postcode to: FAO Wasi Sheikh, RE: The Paris 2024 Paralympic Games prize draw, Gogarburn, House A2, Edinburgh, EH12 1HQ. All postal entries must be received during the prize draw period to be entered into the prize draw. Entries are not limited to one per person. 

6. Every eligible transaction will count as an entry into the prize draw. Only one transaction needs to be made for a single entry into the prize draw. Additional transactions will count as additional entries into the prize draw. There is no maximum number of entries per customer.

7. There will be different prize packages (each a Prize) available for first (see 7.), second (see 8.), and third (see 9.) place winners. All winners will be drawn at random and then allocated first, second, and third place based on when they are drawn. There is a maximum of one prize package (as defined in clause 8, 9, and 10) per winner.

11. The winners list will be drawn at random and will be contacted by email and/or telephone by 19th July 2024 by NatWest.

12. Prizes are non-exchangeable, non-transferrable and there is no cash alternative or refund for unused portions of any Prize. The judge’s decision is final, and no correspondence will be entered into.

13. Entries will not count if the customer’s account is closed during the prize draw period. Only an eligible transaction made from an account that is open at the end of the prize draw period will be entered into the prize draw.

14. The winners will have 5 calendar days from notification that they have won to confirm in writing that they wish to accept the Prize. Failure by the winner to confirm they wish to accept the Prize within this 5-calendar day period will result in the Prize being forfeited.

15. Prize(s) must be accepted as awarded. Prizes are subject to all of the applicable terms and conditions applicable to a given Prize as explained in this agreement, including passing sanctions screening. By accepting a Prize, the winner will have accepted all applicable terms and conditions applicable to that Prize, including and entry and Covid-19 requirements.

16. If any part or all of a Prize is unavailable the Promoter has the right to substitute it for one of equal or greater value. Any substitutions are at the discretion of the Promoter. If a winner does not accept a substitution, they will forfeit the Prize.

17. If we are unable to contact the winners after making reasonable efforts to do so, we will be entitled to select an alternate winner, or to otherwise dispose of the prize as we see fit, without any liability to the winner for having done so.

18. We will process personal data in accordance with our privacy policies which can be found at https://personal.natwest.com/personal/privacy-policy.html (NatWest) and https://personal.rbs.co.uk/personal/privacy-policy.html (RBS).

19. Personal data supplied during the course of the promotion will be passed on to selected third parties only as required for fulfilment, delivery, and arrangement of the Prize. Personal data will be shared for these purposes with Visa, and Bright Blue Agency.  Visa will process your data in accordance with their privacy policy and will retain the data for no longer than three months after the prize is fulfilled. Personal information passed on to Visa, may be passed on to its associated companies and services providers as required for fulfilment, delivery and arrangement of the Prize and shall when provided to Visa be processed in accordance with Visa’s privacy policy.  The Visa privacy policy can be found here: Visa Privacy Policy.

20. We will either publish or make available information that indicates that a valid award took place.

21. Winners of this prize draw can object to their information being disclosed. We will still provide the information and winning entry to relevant regulators, if required, or to fulfil a legal requirement.

22. Prize(s) are not negotiable, and tickets are personal to the winner(s) and the sale or offering for sale, transfer, resale, donation, or exchange of any tickets is strictly prohibited (including, without limitation, in person or online via an online auction website or online ticket resale marketplace), unless otherwise approved. 23. By taking part in this promotion, you understand and agree that you are not being granted any rights (including any advertising, marketing, or sponsorship rights) in relation to Paris 2024 or the Olympic Games Paris 2024 and Paris 2024 Paralympic Games or any associated competitions, matches, teams or athletes) and shall not conduct any related marketing or advertising campaigns, promotions, or other activities.

24. If you live in Scotland at the time of agreeing to these terms, Scots law applies to this prize draw, and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with it. If you live elsewhere, English law applies. If there is a dispute between us, you can take action against us in any UK court.

25. Cancellation, postponement, or material change:

i.) So far as permitted by law, Paris 2024, Visa and their associated companies and agents exclude responsibility and all liabilities arising from:

a. any postponement, cancellation, or material change of the promotion of the Olympic Games Paris 2024 or Paris 2024 Paralympic Games and

b. any act or default by a winner or their guest resulting in the winner or their guest being unable to activate the Prize and/ or any elements of it.
