Cover letter for internships

Sometimes the application process will require you to write a cover letter to accompany your CV. Here’s some rough guidelines to help you shape your cover letter:

This letter should not be too extensive, definitely aim to limit it to one page, with a brief summary of your relevant skills

Include your name, address and contact details. You should also list the position you are applying to

Include the contact it is addressed to, their position/company name and contact details

Explain why you would be a good fit for the role
