You can add your card to Google Pay™ from The Royal Bank of Scotland app. Then, you can use wherever contactless is accepted or where you see the Google Pay™ logo.

What you'll need to set up Google Pay™
To use Google Pay™ in stores you will need an Android phone with near-field communication (NFC), running Android Lollipop (5.0) or higher.
Our Royal Bank of Scotland mobile app is available to personal and business customers aged 11+ using compatible Android devices and a UK or international mobile number in specific countries. Google Pay™ is a trademark of Google LLC.
Step 1
Log in to the Royal Bank of Scotland mobile app, making sure you have the latest version downloaded. Once you have logged in to the app, select your current account or credit card account and tap 'Manage my card & Google Pay'.
Step 2
Confirm that this is the card you want to set up Google Pay on and tap 'Continue'.
Step 3
Next you will need to verify your card to use Google Pay. Tap on 'Text message' to verify.
Step 4
Enter the verification code sent via a Push Notification or a text message and tap 'Submit'. After you have submitted the verification code you will need to review and if happy agree to the terms and conditions.
Step 5
Next you will see a message around how to use Google Pay be sure to give that a quick read and then tap 'Got it'.
Step 6
You are all set! Tap on 'Done' and you have now successfully added Google Pay to your debit or credit card.

On your Phone open the Wallet App. Tap the ‘+ add to wallet’ in the bottom right hand corner and choose ‘Payment Card’. Then ‘New debit card or credit card’

Next use your phone camera to capture your card details.
Step 3
If you prefer you can input your card number manually. Confirm your details and click Save.
Step 4
Review the Terms and Conditions and if you are happy click agree.
Step 5
Choose one of the Verification options shown.
Like ‘Text me a code’ to receive the code via text message. Please enter the verification code sent.
Step 6
You are all set! Tap on 'Done' and you have now successfully added Google Pay to your debit or credit card.
