If the bill is up to £750, then you can make the payment using your mobile banking app. You can either add the bank details or search from the list available. However, if you have registered for face biometrics you can pay a new bill up to £20,000.00 for Personal customers or £50,000.00 for Premier and Business customers.
To pay a bill using your mobile
- Log into the Mobile Banking App
- Select 'Pay' under the account you wish to make the payment from
- Select 'Make a payment' and “Choose Payee”
- Select “Pay Someone New” then search for the company. On Android you can use the search button, on iOS you can start typing the name of the company and select the company.
- Enter amount you wish to pay
- Select 'Make a Payment'
If the bill is over £750, then you will need to use Digital Banking to make the payment unless you have registered for face or voice biometrics. Mobile payment limits apply.
To ensure your money is safe, we will sometimes ask you to authorise a payment
- If you have registered for face biometrics, we will ask you to use this and you will be able to authorise a new bill payment up to £20,000.00 for Personal customers or £50,000.00 for Premier and Business customers.
If you haven't registered for face biometrics you can
- Use Face ID/Touch ID on iOS, fingerprint on Android or your app passcode up to the mobile app daily limit.
