How can I re-instate a direct debit?

We can re-instate a direct debit if it:

  1. Was cancelled in error by the bank, or
  2. Is payable to a Royal Bank of Scotland product e.g. a mortgage

The direct debit also must have been cancelled in the last 60 days.

If the above applies to you, please visit us in branch or get in touch via telephone banking where we will be happy to help. If not, please contact the company that receives your payment directly and they will arrange to reinstate the direct debit on your account.
