How do I verify my childs age on NatWest Rooster Money?
Parents will need version 10.6.0 or above of the NatWest Rooster Money app.
To get your child’s NatWest Rooster Money account ready for Apple Pay or Google Pay, you will need to confirm that they are 13 years or older. This has to be done via the Parent Account as proof of age documents will always be required:
- From your own NatWest Rooster Money profile, tap Menu in the top right hand corner
- Select Manage Account
- Select Age Verification
- Tap the name of the child that you want to age verify and upload their passport.
If you do not have a passport and are using a birth certificate, please be aware that this will be checked by the team and checks can take 3 - 5 days to be completed.
When uploading your document, follow these tips on taking the best photo:
- Make sure all four corners of the document are in the photo
- Check for any overhead lights that can create glare on the image
- Make sure the image is blurry and that all information can be clearly read
- Upload a recent image, ideally a new photo rather than one in saved in your photo gallery
