What happens to Apple Pay if I upgrade my Apple mobile device?

If you upgrade your Apple device, you will need to set up all your cards again in the Wallet.

Your cards are not automatically transferred to the new device. This is part of the security of Apple Pay as your card details are not stored on your mobile device or on Apple servers.
